This course helps participants to gain the knowledge and skills to manage staff absenteeism and capability competently and confidently.  Participants will also explore the triggers of absenteeism and learn how to prepare for and conduct an effective return to work interview.  Participants will work through case studies and be given the opportunity.

  • A clear understanding of the cost and impact of absenteeism within the organisation and the roles and responsibilities of those involved in managing sickness absence.
  • The ability to recognise the core triggers of absenteeism and apply techniques to reduce sickness absence
  • The capability and skills to prepare for and conduct an effective  Return to Work Interview.
