This qualification consists of just one unit and the completion of one work-based assignment and can be completed in as little as 3 weeks.

Level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership

A more extensive qualification, the Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership provides learners with a broader knowledge of middle management skills while focusing on the specific leadership areas appropriate to them and their workplace.

This qualification consists of 2-3 units and the completion of 2-3 work-based assignments. This short qualification is usually completed in 2-4 months.

Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership

With a more comprehensive structure, the Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is designed for middle managers and those aspiring to senior management who want to develop their key skills. A Diploma in Management and Leadership is the benchmark qualification for full CMI membership, taking managers another step towards Chartered Manager status.

This qualification consists of 5-6 units and the completion of 5-6 work-based assignments. This comprehensive qualification is usually completed in 6-9 months.
