Our senior management programmes are fluid, flexible and take many ‘formats’ – from open ended strategic focus sessions to phased ‘modular’ programmes. One size never fits all

Our flexible senior management programmes are aimed at new, experienced or aspiring senior managers.

We don’t do off-the-shelf programmes at this level, but we get that people like to have a sense of what a programme might look like. With this in mind we have presented an example programme framework that represents a comprehensive 10-day leadership development process. This would typically be delivered over a 12-month period. Some clients opt for shorter programmes that target specific development areas or business needs.

Module 1: Role Modelling

A 3-day module designed to answer the following questions:

  • How do I take responsibility as a senior manager?
  • How self-aware am I as a leader?
  • Do I walk the talk and set the right example?
  • Do others choose to follow me as a leader?
  • How do I inspire others to contribute that elusive extra 30%?
  • Have I got the balance of managing and leading right?

Module 2: Path-finding

A 2-day module designed to answer the following questions:

  • What is our purpose and identity as an organisation?
  • Who are our primary stakeholders and how do we know we are meeting their expectations?
  • What is our strategic focus as an organisation?
  • How specifically do I contribute to our organisation’s success?
  • How do I engage others with what we are trying t achieve?

Module 3: Aligning

A 2-day module designed to answer the following questions:

  • How does the whole system work together?
  • Are we operationally aligned to achieve our strategic goals, now and in the future?
  • How can I develop more efficient working practices and processes in my work area?
  • How can we deliver more value to our customers and stakeholders?
  • How are our systems, procedures and processes aligned to our work plan?
  • How can we improve the quality of what we deliver?

Module 4: Empowering

A 3-day module designed to answer the following questions:

  • How do I create an environment where people can perform to the best of their ability?
  • How do I develop a talent pipeline?
  • Do I empower others and manage this process effectively?
  • How do I encourage and model a feedback culture?
  • How do I develop the potential of others?

For the icing on the cake, we can integrate a Level 7 qualification so that senior managers attain an internationally recognised management qualification on successful completion of the programme.

Flex to fit

Programmes can be as long or short as you need; from two days to two years. We use real-time learning, integrating work-based activities and projects that align to the organisation.

We also offer flexible delivery options, which is a huge bonus for leadership teams who work remotely.

For us it is vital that what people learn on our programmes can easily and immediately be used in their day-to-day work. Practical learning and tools that translate directly into highly effective, strategic leadership practice. Consistently. Habitually.

A blend of learning methodologies is used to support effective transfer of learning back to the workplace.  For example; classroom-based learning, on-line profiling and assessment tools, work-based tasks/projects, strategic focus sessions, business impact presentations, coaching, mentoring, action learning, work-based assignments and personal development planning.

All of our senior management programmes are Adalta certified as standard. Or you can integrate a professional management qualification. Or we can deliver standalone middle management qualifications.

Our professional management qualifications are for practicing and aspiring senior managers and leaders. Whether new to the role, looking to refresh skills and develop best practice or looking to progress, we have the right one. Our Chartered Management Institute (CMI) professional qualifications for senior managers are available at Level 7.

Our senior management courses, programmes and qualifications all link to the National Occupational Standards for Management & Leadership.

In-House Programmes

To keep things simple, Adalta charge a flat daily rate which includes facilitation and participant materials. We can also adapt and tailor the content of the training to meet specific requirements/ development needs for a nominal fee. Please contact us with your requirements and we can advise what flexibility exists and what additional charges may apply.

Daily rate for up to 12 delegates: £1350 per day

For every 15 days booked at any one time you will receive a free day of training

Price excludes VAT and facilitator expenses, i.e. mileage and accommodation where relevant. Mileage is charged at 45p per day.
