One size never fits all

We don’t do off-the-shelf programmes for junior managers, but we get that people like to have a sense of what a development programme at this level might look like. With this in mind we decided to show you an example modular programme based on the most frequently requested development areas for people working at this level. We also offer the option to integrate a Level 2, 3 or 4 qualification so that participants achieve an internationally recognised management qualification at end of their development.

Flex to fit

 Programmes can be as long or short as you need; from two days to twelve months. To keep the learning relevant and real, we integrate work-based scenarios and activities that simulate what happens in the day-to-day workplace so we can really test people’s ability to use what they learn.

Participants receive full-colour learning materials, and we will adapt these to include your organisation’s branding and key messages that are relevant.

A perfect blend

For us it is vital that what people learn on our programmes can easily and immediately be used in their day-to-day work. Practical learning and tools that translate directly into good management practice. Consistently. Habitually.

We will agree a blend of learning methods that compliment the programme and support effective transfer of learning back to the workplace.  Our programmes include a range of complimentary learning methods to ensure this happens, for example classroom-based learning, on-line profiling, work-based tasks/projects, business impact presentations, coaching, mentoring, action learning, work-based assignments and personal development/action planning and tracking.

All our programmes are focused on getting tangible results. To this end every programme is underpinned by an evaluation plan. We also provide bespoke evaluation tools that help elicit the key measures that help you – and us – to justify the value of the training.

All of our junior management programmes are Adalta certified as standard. Or you can integrate a professional management qualification. Or we can deliver standalone junior management qualifications.

Our professional management qualifications are for practicing and aspiring junior managers (i.e. team leaders, supervisors and first line management roles). Whether new to the role, looking to refresh skills and develop best practice or looking to progress, we have the right one. Our Chartered Management Institute (CMI) professional qualifications for junior managers are available at Level 2, 3 or 4 at Award, Certificate or Diploma level. There’s one for everyone and we can help you choose the best fit.

Our junior management courses, programmes and qualifications all link to the National Occupational Standards for Management & Leadership.

To keep things simple, Adalta charge a flat daily rate which includes facilitation, customisation of training content and participant materials. Or you can buy tailored training from us to deliver yourself at very competitive rates; only £1250 for a 1-day course/module or £2000 for a 2-day module. For in-house programmes we will adapt and tailor content at no additional cost as we have an extensive portfolio of tried and tested material and resources to tap into. If you do want something highly bespoke, a nominal development fee may apply, please contact us with your requirements and we can advise if this is the case.

Daily rate for up to 12 delegates:  £1150 per day

  • For every 15 days booked at any one time you will receive a free day of training
  • Price excludes VAT and facilitator expenses, i.e. mileage and accommodation where relevant. Mileage is charged at 45p per day.
