Our Level 6 Award in Management Leadership skill programme enables learners to develop their knowledge of roles and responsibilities of a manager by focusing on specific skill areas.
This leadership management training consists of just one unit and the completion of one work-based assignment and can be completed in as little as 3 weeks.
Level 6 Certificate in Management and Leadership
A more extensive qualification, our Level 6 Certificate in Management and Leadership gives learners a broader knowledge of management skills while focusing on the specific areas appropriate to them and their workplace.
This managementt leadership skill training consists of two units and the completion of two work-based assignments. This short qualification is usually completed in 2 - 4 months.
Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership
With a more comprehensive structure, our Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership provides learners with the key skills and competencies required to become the manager they want to be.
This leadership management training consists of eight units and the completion of eight work-based assignments. This extensive qualification is completed in 12-18 months.

Study Routes
Adalta offer three flexible study options as follows:

Bespoke In-House Programme
Bespoke in-house programmes are ideally suited to organisations that have four or more people that will be studying towards the same qualification and want the most cost-effective method to deliver this.
In delivering a level 6 qualification, Adalta can deliver a stand-alone accredited programme or as part of a wider programme that addresses specific needs in other areas, for example, communication and influencing, leading others through change etc.
All in-house programmes are fully tailored specifically to your organisation to ensure that learners can easily apply what they learn to their day-to-day work. No additional charge is made for this.
With the aim being firmly on helping people succeed, learners would typically attend a one-day bespoke workshop for each unit that makes up the qualification. These fast track workshops help the learner to plan and prepare their work-based assignment.
Fast Track Leadership Coaching
For three or less candidates, organisations may wish to consider ‘fast track leadership coaching’
This study route offers a practical, coaching-based approach which takes into account the specific needs of the manager. Learners are appointed a management coach who would work with them throughout their programme. A half-day coaching session is scheduled for each unit and the Coach ‘fast tracks’ the candidate through the key theories, models, knowledge of each unit via discussion, activities, experiential learning, targeted exercises etc.
Learners have direct access to their Coach throughout their study via tele-coaching sessions and unlimited email support.
Fast-track leadership coaching can reduce the time taken for learners to achieve the qualification by up to as much as 50%.
Distance Learning
Distance learning is a study route that gives individuals the freedom to study when and where they like within the framework of a flexible personal study plan.
Of all the study options available, distance learning represents the lowest cost route to achieving this qualification and is best suited to those with sufficient self-motivation and self-discipline to commit to the time required to self-study and produce their written assignments.
Typically many of our distance learners have previous experience of studying towards qualifications.
Level of Support
Learners will be fully inducted prior to starting their programme to ensure they receive essential guidance, tips and tools to help them successfully produce their assignment and fully prepare them for their study.
Adalta are sensitive to the needs of every individual learner, from those with academic experience to those that are completely new to the process and have never done a qualification before.
Learners will also gain student membership to the Chartered Management Institute and will be able to access a wealth of online learning resources worth over £1,000.
Progression
On successful completion of a Level 6 qualification in Management and Leadership, a number of progression opportunities become available:
- Progress to other qualifications at the same level (e.g. from Level 6 Award to Level 6 Certificate etc.)
- Progress to other qualifications at the next level (e.g. from Level 6 Certificate to Level 7 Certificate)
