The Award:

The Level 5 Award in Management & Leadership is a concise qualification which enables you to strengthen and develop your middle management knowledge through focusing on specific management areas which are appropriate to your personal and organisational development.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Award in Management & Leadership, you need to successfully complete at least one unit to a minimum of 6 credits.

The Certificate:

The Level 5 Certificate in Management & Leadership is a more extensive qualification enabling you to focus on broadening your middle management knowledge and skills whilst still maintaining the flexibility to focus on the specific management areas appropriate to you and your workplace.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Certificate in Management & Leadership, you need to successfully complete any combination of units to a minimum of 13 credits.

The Diploma:

The Diploma in Management & Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with the key management skills to enable you to operate effectively as a middle manager. It allows you to develop a range of competencies from operational management principles and practices to the development of resource control and use. The Diploma in Management & Leadership is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute as the benchmark qualification for full membership of the Institute and enables you to progress towards Chartered Manager status.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management & Leadership, you need to successfully complete all core units from Group A, at least one core unit from Group B and three optional units from Group C to a minimum total of 62 credits.
