Scope: This statement sets out Adalta’s roles and responsibilities as to why and how we process your personal data. It explains the rights you have, including amongst others, the right to access your data and to object to the way it is processed.

Adalta Development Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information from employers and learners for registration, quality assurance and marketing reasons.

We collect data so that we can to support you in your learning, monitor and report on how well you are doing, manage and support our relationship with you, comply with legal obligations and provide the best services to our customers.

Understand your needs to provide the services requested

We will obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our services and/ or register with us. We may also receive information about you from partner organisations, for example from the Chartered Management Institute and the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
2.3 What information do we collect?
Adalta collect basic contact information at the point of enquiry which includes name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and the nature of enquiry.
Personal information is also collected during programme registration for CMI qualifications, management Apprenticeships and in-house management programmes. This includes:
Date of birth
Relevant learning needs and requirements
Details of prior learning
Relevant medical information
2.4 How do we use this information?
Your personal information is used for identification and registration purposes to support quality assurance and ensure the best possible learning experience. We may share your information with partner organisations such as Chartered Management Institute and Education and Skills Funding Agency that are supportive of our aims and objectives.
When you provide your details, you will be asked if you give consent for your information to be shared. You can change your mind at any time by contacting us in writing at the above address.
We keep your data secure and have controls in place to protect information being inappropriately used. We work to ensure that your data is correct, we do not keep it any longer than is necessary and we recognise your rights in respect of your data.
2.5 Will we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We may pass your information to our partner organisations if you have consented. We do not share any personal information unless we have received your explicit permission to do so. From time to time, we employ the services of other parties for dealing with certain processes necessary for the operation of the website. The providers of such services do not have access to certain personal data provided by users of our services or our website.
We may also need to disclose your information if required to do so by law.
2.6 How will we keep your data safe and how long you will keep your data for?
Data security is of great importance to Adalta Development Ltd. and to protect your data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure all data collected including via our website. We use a secure server to store all information received.
We also take appropriate measures to ensure that the information disclosed to us is accurate, up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used and in line with Awarding organisations directives.

7. MONITORING & ACCOUNTABILITY
7.1 Monitoring of reports received will be reviewed by Company Directors to ensure that procedures have been followed, that any learning is shared and that any changes required to Adalta’s notice are made.
8.1 We will carry out a fundamental review of this policy every year or sooner subject to legal, regulatory changes or if internal changes require. If we make any changes to our statement we will make these available on our website.
