Having experienced a lot of change, this south west branch needed to achieve consistency in standards of operation and management across their flagship site. Adalta consulted with key stakeholders to agree a development strategy that involved a bespoke six-modular development programme targeted at team managers, supervisors and shift managers, and to custom application and evaluation tools for middle and senior managers. The programme had a profound effect on staff motivation and engagement; we now plan to take other sites through the development process. Key outputs are positive, 'can-do' attitudes, personal ownership and accountability as well as consistency and standardisation of effective management and operational practices across the company. This has also provided a platform for talent management.
